Vehicle Crime in your area!

Dear Residents of Plungington, 

We have had some recent reports of vehicle crimes in the Greenbank Street and Adelphi Street areas of Plungington. The offenders have tried car doors and taken items from vehicles. 

Your Neighbourhood Policing Team are conducting enquires around these incidents.. We are currently reassuring the victims of the crimes and linked in with neighbouring streets for any potential CCTV footage. We are continuing our enquiries to identify a suspect. If you have any infomation regarding suspicious behaviour please contact us. 

We advise residents to…

- Lock car doors when the vehicle is unattended. 

- Consider CCTV for your house and a dash cam for your car.

- Remove all valuables from your vehicle in case of a break in.

- Always report a crime via 999 in an emergency or 101/online in a non-emergency.
